About Team Sutton

Team Sutton is owned and operated by Mike Sutton. Mike started building custom homes and remodeling since 1999 along with his wife Shelly Potvin, a Coldwell Banker Realtor.

Team Sutton is well organized and has been praised for running a strict and well detailed schedule that promotes a quicker than normal completion date. Our most recent custom home was built in only six and a half months.

We understand value. Management
We never run more than two jobs at one time! It’s not fair to our clients. Mike Sutton the owner of Team Sutton will be at your project most days and not just for a few minutes before rushing off to another job. Time is money and the longer a project takes, the longer our client has to endure a disruptive environment and incur holding costs. We have proven time and time again that we have the know-how to manage a project and run our jobs efficiently.

One point of contact
Communication is extremely important for a smooth and successful project. You will be working strictly with Mike Sutton from day one until completion.

Quality and workmanship
You will see the beauty of our custom woodworking, carved masonry, detailed tile work and craftsmanship throughout your home. We take great pride in the infrastructure (i.e., internal framing, electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC) so that they will not be noticeable. We believe that it is the fine details, the appreciation of good materials and knowledge of how all the components are integrated that creates a well built home.

We respect our customers home and their time. We pay special attention to the amount of disruption, noise and cleanliness during our projects. Our goal is to make this difficult time as smooth and easy as possible.

Educating & Knowledge Transfer
This is a key factor with any project regardless of size. We spend time up-front informing our clients of the multiple decisions that will be needed and at what times. We start off reviewing the plans and create a detailed schedule so that decisions can be made in a timely manner. Therefore, by describing all options when possible our clients can make an educated decision at the appropriate time, thus greatly reducing the number of costly change orders that lead to unnecessary cost and frustration.
