| Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises agrees to provide animals in good health ready to pack for you. Veterinary health certificates will be provided if you will be traveling out of the state of California. All equipment necessary for the goat to pack your gear and to maintain the goat during the rental period is included in the daily rental fee.
Renter agrees to use the animals responsibly and treat them in a friendly, humane manner. Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time if it determines that animals are being abused or neglected. Renter agrees to provide adequate supervision, never leaving the animals unattended for long periods of time.
In the event of loss, injury or death of the animal the renter agrees to pay Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises the cost of medical treatment or the cost of replacement of the animal at the discretion of Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises. Renter assumes all responsibility for veterinary care should it become necessary during the rental period.
Normal wear and tear on equipment is expected, however if equipment is lost, stolen or damaged due to misuse or neglect, the Renter agrees to reimburse Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises for the cost of repair or replacement.
Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises monitors the compatibility of people and goats, in particular the treatment of animals at the hands of people renting them. This evaluation is made on a subjective basis and any determination made from this evaluation is made solely by Hoof & Horn Enterprises personnel for the safety and security of our livestock and is not subject to any other interpretation. Hoof & Horn Livestock Enterprises reserves the right to retract this agreement and demand immediate return of leased or rented livestock without notice at any time during the rental period with or without cause. |
