The Client Survey and Website Questionnaire:
The first step is to understand your needs and requirements, and gather important information including your preferences, project time frame, functionality, scalability and complexity of the website, expected workload and number of concurrent users, the way you identify yourself online, etc. (see "On-line questionnaire page")
Website Architecture and Design:
The process of designing the graphical appearance of the site begins with screen design drafts. Usually the client selects a generic page look (a screen template) to be applied to every website page. This approach supports the consistent professional look of the website, and ensures better customer experience and ease of use.
Then the site content and design features are developed. The graphic interface is produced and the layouts, illustrations, photographs, navigation systems, and other graphic elements, type styles and faces are applied.
Having received the client's feedback, I modify the chosen design according to the client specifications.
If you choose a pre-designed template (see "www.GoWebExpress.com") this step takes less time and is less complicated.
Website Building and Development:
Now I am ready to actually build your website. The templates and specific page designs you chose are converted into live working web pages, and those pages are joined together with consistent navigation links throughout the website. When it is done, your website is loaded onto the server and final testing is performed.
Online Site Management:
I also offer on-going technical support, site maintenance and upgrade options. Simple changes - such as editing text or substituting the picture - can be done within 24 hours. More complex changes will probably require more time but you will be given accurate time estimate in advance, so you will know when the changes are implemented.
