Back file and day forward conversion of hardcopy files

The process of scanning hardcopy files and converting the information into digital images. SAF Imaging utilizes high speed scanners and production level image capture software to create an identical digital representation of your hardcopy documents.

  • UP to 90 pages a minute in black and white

Wide format scanning

The process of scanning wide format drawings and converting them into digital images. SAF Imaging utilizes wide format scanners and production level image capture software to create an identical digital representation of your physical drawings, plans, blueprints, etc.

Photograph, slide, and negative imaging

Create Lasting Memories by converting your old photos and slides into a digital album. Many individuals are faced with the challenge of preserving years of accumulated photographs, slides, and negatives. When these valuable memories are converted from paper based media into electronic media, the resulting improvements in accessibility, preservation, and sharing these memories among family and friends are quite dramatic. SAF Imaging provides high quality, cost effective scanning of most photos (from size 3” x 3” to 12” x 18”), slides or negatives.

Microfilm imaging

The process of converting microfilm (16mm and 35mm) into digital images. Once digitized, the images can be indexed and stored for efficient retrieval. Once a very popular method for archiving information, microfilm can now be transferred to the latest technological solution for preserving data.

Once documents are scanned, SAF Imaging provides an option of hosting them in a web-based repository for simple, secure access by granted users. Our repository makes it possible for all clients all over the world to log-in and view pertinent information.

Records management consulting

SAF Imaging recommends a variety of records management systems that are scalable across multiple industries. Our hardware and software technologies provide solutions that meet the requirements of today’s archival standards. SAF Imaging will review your current records management practices and existing infrastructure to develop a solution that achieves your records management goals. This will include a comprehensive assessment of how files are created, stored, retrieved, and secured. SAF Imaging will provide recommendations on document capture, document storage, and document hosting, and determine if these solutions should be managed in-house or out-sourced.

Secure Document Destruction

SAF Imaging offers secure and certified shredding of your already imaged sensitive documents. One of the main reasons clients go paperless is to save storage space. Retaining hard copies is contradictory.
